I am pleased to present my acrylic paintings from the early months of 2022, a period that holds special significance in my artistic journey. These artworks encapsulate the enthusiasm and passion that painting brought into my life during that time.

The start of 2022 was a highly creative phase for me as an artist. With dedication, I immersed myself in my craft, resulting in still life paintings that featured food as symbols of life’s pleasures. These compositions embraced the rich interplay of colors and textures that surround us, celebrating the essence of abundance and vitality.

In addition, my adoration for the world of animals was found in a series of animal portraits. Each stroke of the brush captured the unique personality of these creatures, all brought to life through an array of colors. These portraits stand as a heartfelt tribute to the beauty and diversity inherent in the animal kingdom.

Furthermore, my landscape paintings from this period transport viewers into the  embrace of nature’s majesty. Whether it’s the enchanting allure of poppy fields, the tranquil vistas of seascapes, or the captivating scene of Cappadocia, my intention was to encapsulate the essence and serenity of these awe-inspiring landscapes.

However, shortly after this period of intense creativity, the outbreak of  the war in Ukraine brought about a significant shift. Having lived and worked there and cherished wonderful moments with kind friends, this attack deeply impacted me. In response, I created three paintings as a gesture of solidarity with Ukraine, channeling my emotions into heartfelt expressions of empathy.

Amidst these developments, another profound change unfolded. Learning about my pregnancy shortly after the war’s onset, I made the choice to take a break from painting. Embracing the beauty of impending motherhood became my priority, leading me to step back from the canvas and fully immerse myself in this new chapter.

Now, as I reflect on those early months of 2022, I am excited to share these artworks with you. Each piece encapsulates a unique facet of my artistic journey, reflecting the emotions, experiences, and transformations that have shaped this collection. Through these paintings, I hope to convey the depth of my passion and dedication to my craft.
